Red Telephone’s blend of melodic psych and darkwave has drawn comparisons to indie trailblazers MGMT, St. Vincent, and fellow Welsh cult favourites Super Furry Animals. The band’s critically acclaimed debut album, ‘Hollowing Out’, garnered media attention from BBC 6 Music, Radio X and Under the Radar.

 

Now returning with their second album ‘Delay the New Day’, which is set for release in early 2025, Red Telephone continue to make waves in the UK alternative scene. Exploring themes of paranoia, doubt and dissolution ‘Delay the New Day’ was arranged by the band in solitude in Cornwall and recorded semi-live. Driven by the quintet's knack for multi-instrumental intricacies and drawing on cinematic influences, Red Telephone’s latest work is bold and optimistic, while staying true to the unique style they established in their critically acclaimed debut.

em koko's music is the product of heightened feeling. The synergy of modern shoegaze and industrial dream pop contorted by a dissociative melancholy makes for a post-genre experience for the listener. Her debut EP "In Nowhere" was critically acclaimed by radio legends Bethan Elfyn and Emily Pilbeam of BBC Radio 6 and appeared in Clash Magazine, describing it as "a gem of an EP, em koko’s ‘In Nowhere’ practically glows with potent emotions and post-genre musical ambition." Within her first year, em koko has shared the stage with acts Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard and Panic Shack, and ended the summer playing Green Man festival with her impressive live band.

Enabling Behaviour, who originated in Cornwall and are now based in Cardiff, have a catalogue inspired by post-punk, noise, industrial, gothic, shoegaze and indie. Having played over 100 shows and supported the likes of The Libertines, Alien Chicks, Legss and Crywank, their debut LP ‘GILT!’ was released in 2024 as a thematically consistent collage of their first few years in the game.
