MUSICAL DIRECTOR: JOHN ALTMAN

and many more to be announced

Join this celebration to help remember comic, musician and actor Neil Innes. Known as much for his wit, musicianship, and philosophy as the people he worked with, Neil was one of the great songwriters, comedians and bon viveurs. He wrote songs about the human condition, songs for children, comedy songs, songs about life, uplifting songs, hilarious songs, songs from the heart.

Straight from art school into the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band, then television with ‘Do Not Adjust Your Set’, Neil worked with Monty Python on their live stage shows, touring and filming in the UK and America. He co-produced Rutland Weekend Television with Eric Idle which led to being offered his own hugely popular series ‘Innes Book of Records.’  Later, as part of Grimms, a group of poets, comedians and musicians, and much touring, he finally linked up again with Eric Idle to create the much lauded film and band The Rutles. In the latter part of his working life, Neil toured with his solo show performing in the UK, America, Japan, New Zealand and Australia, before getting together with two of his favourite comedians Adrian Edmundson and Phill Jupitus to form the Idiot Bastard Band.
