Leeds based singer/songwriter and guitarist Eve Buckley combines a rich hybrid of alternative-soul and jazz infused pop. Capturing the tapestry of notions that arise through young adulthood, her timeless vocals and sentimental soundscapes are reminiscent of her inspirations including Lianne La Havas, Jordan Rakei and Yazmin Lacey.

Meeting producer Alex Williams at University in Leeds marked the beginning of a unique collaboration to create Eve’s authentic recorded sound rooted in elegant writing and luscious production. Her debut singles have received airplay from BBC Introducing, making her their ‘Artist of the Week’, Future Hits, and Jazz FM, with ‘Peace of Mind’ becoming Tony Minvielle’s ‘Featured Track’. She also received support from Spotify’s editorial playlists, ‘Jazz UK’ and ‘Fresh Finds UK & IE’, as well as Dead Good Music, claiming ‘Big Shot’ to be ‘one of the boldest debut singles’ heard this year.

Her all-consuming storytelling and distinctive voice have captivated audiences across Leeds and the UK, playing the iconic Brudenell Social Club and supporting the likes of Rosie Frater Taylor, Yakul, and Children of Zeus at World Island Festival. She is now taking on a debut slot at Live at Leeds In The City on the 16^th of November, as well as her debut Leeds headline at The Cardigan Arms on the 27^th November.
