To celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut release, Children of
the Bong will play Sirius Sounds live in full, for the very first time.

Children of the Bong were formed in the early 1990s by Rob Henry and
Daniel Goganian and soon found acclaim for their fiery acid melodies and
earthy dub rhythms, with Melody Maker describing them as creating “the
perfect soundtrack for a swirling lightshow”.

They released only one album during this time, Sirius Sounds on Planet
Dog Records in 1995, as well as a couple of tracks on the label’s
compilations and a Peel Session recorded for BBC Radio 1.

Following their Brixton Academy show in 1996, the duo decided to call it
a day, and went their separate musical ways.

In 2022, Cherry Red re-issued Sirius Sounds as a 3-disc set, and Disco
Gecko followed this in 2023 with the release of their long-lost second
album, Not Sirius.

Now the Bong are ready to celebrate 30 years since their debut with a
career-spanning remix collection, Sirius Versions, featuring mixes by
Kaya Project, Banco de Gaia, Beatfarmer and many more.
